‘Hunter X Hunter’ chapter 361 release date rumors: Show’s indefinite hiatus to end soon?

MNR DAILY – Nov 7, 2016 – A lot of fans of the popular long-running Japanese manga, “Hunter X Hunter,” have been very eager to know the details as to when the series will return to its regular release schedule, particularly for chapter 361. Unfortunately, it seems like the manga has just been hit with another indefinite hiatus, as its author, also known as mangaka, Yoshihiro Togashi, hasn’t been feeling really well these past few months.

However, it seems like things might soon go back to its regular schedule as words on the streets have it that Togashi is recovering pretty well. According to reports, the “Hunter X Hunter” mangaka was recently seen at the 40th anniversary celebration of Osamu Akimoto’s “Kochira Katsushika-ku Kamearikouen-mae Hashutsujo,” which is also known as “Kochikame,” to commemorate the success of the manga after it concluded last September.

Many of the renowned manga writers have attended the event including Togashi, as can be seen on the photo posted by Hisashi Eguchi, known for his work on “Stop! Hibari-kun,” on his Twitter account late last month.

Because of this sighting, a lot of fans of the manga have now been predicting that the indefinite hiatus of the series is now coming to an end soon, and “Hunter X Hunter” chapter 361 would probably be released in the coming months.

There are some, however, who think the wait could take a little while. Mobi Picker reported that there have been speculations circulating on the Internet suggesting that “Hunter X Hunter” chapter 361 release might be pushed back to sometime in 2017.

The source then continued to speculate that Togashi’s wife, Naoko Takeuchi, may probably take over the writing of “Hunter X Hunter.” It should be noted, however, that there has been no official confirmation yet coming from Togashi regarding all these claims. With that in mind, fans are highly advised to take this one with a pinch of salt and consider it as a mere rumor until proven otherwise.
