‘Hunter X Hunter’ chapter 361 release date next year; manga anime series’ previous chapter is its last

ECUMENICAL NEWS – August 2, 2016 – Despite various speculations and rumors surrounding “Hunter X Hunter,” only one thing remains certain: The release of its long-overdue chapter 361 is still uncertain.

According to reports, there is still no solid piece of information that can verify when exactly “Hunter X Hunter” chapter 361 will be released, and it is widely believed that the primary culprit for the long delay is still its creator’s health problem, Yoshihiro Togashi, who is said to be suffering from lingering back problems.

It was in March this year when Anime News Network reported that Shonen Jump website announced on its website that “Hunter X Hunter” would resume telling its story in manga and would run its Dark Continent story arc after its hiatus in 2014. The article was even tweeted by no less than Togashi himself. True enough, the manga series returned in April.

However, nobody saw it coming that “Hunter X Hunter” would go on a hiatus once more after its chapter 360 and leave the fans of the manga series in limbo anew, much more that the last chapter left with a cliffhanger. Now, fans can only wonder how the story might pan out after the Nen Beasts appeared in the previous issue and appeared to threaten the Black Whale.

According to reports, many fans are expecting that “Hunter X Hunter” chapter 361 will make the reveal on who may the real killer may be. However, with the unexpected new hiatus of the manga series, many now fear that it may take another two years for them to find out what may actually happen in the story.

There are even those who opine that with “Hunter X Hunter’s” new hiatus, it may be possible for the series to be discontinued and leave the story as it is in its last chapter. Avid viewers of the manga series, though, refuse to accept the possibility. Having experienced a long wait for the series after its long hiatus, they believe that “Hunter X Hunter” will return to continue telling a story, no matter how long it may take before that happens.
